Patriot Responder Technologies is developing a roadside device to confirm “recency of use” for drivers and employees attending to start shifts for sensitive tasks.

My belief is that a cannabis impairment breathalyzer is urgently needed to enforce marijuana-impaired driving. There is a myth that impaired driving enforcement and deterrence are best achieved with criminal code charges, which require proof of level of exact impairment. The current alcohol-impaired driving enforcement is very, very effective with the use of 24-hour driving prohibitions and roadside breath tests. A police officer can levy 8-10 24-hour infractions in a shift, whereas a criminal code impaired driving investigation takes most of a police officer’s shift and gets torn apart by criminal defence lawyers and results in only 15-20% conviction rates. Most detachments with 5-6 officers cannot effectively enforce impaired driving with criminal code charges but can do it via 24-hour prohibitions which require simple confirmation of the presence of alcohol.

Drivers are now afraid to drive alcohol-impaired as 24-hour prohibitions offer huge deterrence. If drivers get more than 2, 24 hour prohibitions, their driver’s licence is suspended by the Motor vehicle branch. This has resulted in drivers drinking and driving much less often but they do not hesitate to ingest cannabis and drive because there is no fear of enforcement.

Patriot Responder is planning to list its shares for trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange and be trading by the Spring - Summer of 2025. To qualify for listing, Patriot Responder needs to have a minimum of 150 shareholders who own a minimum of 5000 shares.

The shares are offered at $.010/share and come with a “Warrant” which gives you the right to buy another share for a period of three years even if the market price goes well beyond $.25. The warrant is your OPTION to buy, and you would only exercise it if the market price is above $.25.

Patriot Responder Technologies: Pioneering Cannabis Impairment Detection and Expanding Investment Opportunities

Leading the Future of Cannabis Impairment Detection

Download Sub Agreement

As cannabis legalization expands across North America, a critical gap in public safety has emerged: the lack of reliable, real-time tools to detect cannabis impairment. Patriot Responder Technologies, in collaboration with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), is addressing this challenge head-on with the development of the first-ever THC breathalyzer—a groundbreaking solution that balances public safety with the rights of lawful cannabis users

Why invest in Patriot Responder?

1. Next-generation THC detection for law enforcement

Patriot Responder is developing a roadside breathalyzer that detects recent cannabis use, enabling law enforcement to make accurate, real-time assessments of driver impairment. Unlike traditional blood or urine tests, which detect THC long after impairment has passed, this device focuses on recency of use, making it a fairer and more effective tool for roadside enforcement.

This innovation mirrors the success of alcohol breathalyzers, which have drastically reduced drunk driving through 24-hour driving prohibitions—a model Patriot Responder aims to replicate for cannabis.

2. Backed by leading research and innovation

Developed in partnership with VCU, the technology is grounded in rigorous scientific research and advanced sensor engineering. This collaboration ensures the device meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

3. Shaping policy for safer roads

Patriot Responder is actively engaging with policymakers and legislative bodies to align its technology with evolving cannabis laws. By supporting fair and enforceable DUI regulations, the company is helping shape a safer, more responsible future for cannabis use.

Potential applications across key sectors

Law enforcement

  • Enables quick, non-invasive roadside testing.
  • Detects only recent THC use, avoiding false positives from past consumption.
  • Reduces reliance on time-consuming lab tests and improves officer efficiency.
  • Supports fair enforcement of cannabis DUI laws while respecting legal use.

Employer safety programs

  • Ideal for safety-sensitive industries like transportation, construction, and aviation.
  • Provides a balanced approach to workplace THC testing—focusing on impairment, not past use.
  • Helps employers maintain safe work environments without infringing on employee rights.

Healthcare and rehabilitation

  • Supports patient monitoring in recovery programs.
  • Offers a reliable tool for compliance tracking in substance abuse treatment.

Insurance and liability mitigation

  • Helps insurers assess risk and liability related to cannabis impairment.
  • Reduces claims through proactive detection and prevention.

Market size and demand

  • 23 U.S. states have legalized recreational cannabis, driving demand for THC detection tools.
  • The global drug detection market is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 10%.
  • Industries like transportation, construction, and manufacturing are actively seeking reliable THC impairment solutions.
  • Public safety concerns and legislative momentum are accelerating adoption.

Competitive edge

Gaps in Existing Solutions

  • Blood and urine tests are invasive and slow.
  • Field sobriety tests are subjective and unreliable.
  • Patriot Responder offers a portable, real-time, scientifically validated alternative.

Technological differentiation

  • Utilizes advanced sensor technology for rapid, on-site results.
  • Designed to meet the needs of both law enforcement and employers.
  • Provides a non-invasive, scalable solution unmatched in the current market.

Business model and revenue streams

Patriot Responder is positioned for sustained growth through a multi-channel revenue strategy:

  • Direct sales to law enforcement: Initial pilot programs to drive adoption.
  • Partnerships with employers: Tailored packages for high-risk industries.
  • Technology licensing: Opportunities for integration into broader safety systems.

Investment opportunity

Patriot Responder is preparing to list on the Canadian Securities Exchange by summer 2025. To qualify, the company must secure 150 shareholders, each holding a minimum of 5,000 shares.

  • Share price: $0.10/share
  • Bonus warrant: Each share includes a 3-year warrant to purchase an additional share at $0.25—offering significant upside potential if the market price rises.

A smart investment in public safety and innovation

Patriot Responder Technologies is not just building a product—it’s creating a new standard for cannabis impairment detection. With strong academic backing, a clear market need, and a scalable business model, the company is poised to lead a transformational shift in how cannabis impairment is managed on our roads and in our workplaces.
